Practice is looking for individuals to become part of a good working team.
Responsibilities will be, but are not limited to patient care, restraint, venipuncture, catheter placement - maintenance and care (peripheral/central venous as well as urinary catheter care), care for hospitalized patients including nutritional support, IV medication admin.
, laboratory work -IDEXX Lab Station, cytology, fecal, UA, CBC differentials (dog, cat and exotics), anesthesia induction and maintenance as well as anesthesia care, dental cleaning/polishing/sealants and digital dental x-rays, digital radiograph positioning and performing, and client education are all duties expected for this position.
A good work ethic and a team player with an easy going attitude is a must.
Equipment - IDEXX lab (vetstat, procyte, catalyst, coag, and snap reader), digital x-ray and digital dental x-ray, ventilator, sevoflurane only, syringe pumps, IV pumps and IV warmers for all patients that are in need, multiple monitors, endoscopy, ultrasound, full dental and surgical suite are on site.
Job experience is helpful but not required.
